My Story
My name is Jerolle Valencia a.k.a “JAMol”, a 25-year-old Filipino entrepreneur and a proud member of the internationally recognized hip-hop dance group, Junior New System. For the past 16 years, I have been dancing alongside my brothers in the group, traveling the world to perform, and now, we are based in Los Angeles, California, balancing our passion for dance with our daily jobs.
My entrepreneurial journey started when I was just 7 years old in the streets of Manila, Philippines. I began selling rice cakes to help support my family-not because I was forced to, but because I chose to. Even in high school, I continued selling graham balls on campus so I could afford school supplies without asking my parents. I wanted to show them that, despite my young age, I was capable of making things happen on my own.
Dancing entered my life when I was 9 years old, and it quickly became my greatest passion. It changed my life and opened doors I never thought possible. Coming from a humble background, I know what it’s like to grow up with little, unable to afford basic necessities like clothes and slippers. That’s why I launched Jamkids, my online store dedicated to providing high-quality baby and kid’s good’s because every child deserves the best, regardless of their circumstances.
Today, as I continue to pursue both my dance career and my business, I am driven by the same passion and resilience that shaped my journey from a young street vendor to an entrepreneur. I hope for your support in this new venture, and I cant wait to make a positive impact one step at a time.
